2024 Fall Conference: Peacebuilding PerspectivesWe are now accepting presentation proposals for the 2024 Fall Conference! Please see below for more information and submission instructions. The Virginia Mediation Network is hosting its 2024 Fall Conference on September 13-14 (in-person at the Colonial Williamsburg Woodlands Conference Center in Williamsburg, Virginia) & 16-20 (virtual). Our theme this year is “Peacebuilding Perspectives: Pursuing Paths to Cultivating Harmony.” Conference Details Sept. 13-14 In Person Sept. 16-20 Virtual We will utilize the event management platform, Whova, for the conference. The in-person conference will kickoff on Friday, Sept. 13, with dinner and a Keynote presentation. A ticket for this event, which includes dinner and a drink ticket, can be added at registration. On Saturday, Sept. 14, we will offer a full day of conference presentations. Our Annual Meeting will take place during lunch on Sept. 14. In addition to lunch, we will provide a continental breakfast prior to the first sessions. The remainder of the conference, from Sept. 16-20, will be virtual, and we will offer 2-3 virtual sessions per day. We will apply for CMEs for all conference sessions, and hope to also offer some MCLEs for Virginia attorneys.

We are now accepting proposals for our 2024 Fall Conference presentations! The deadline to submit proposals is March 15. Don't miss this opportunity to share your knowledge and network with your peers.
Presenters will be offered one of the following: a $75 discount off conference registration fees; a $100 honorarium; or, recognition as a “Patron” level sponsor of the conference (includes name/company on Whova virtual event homepage & on VMN website throughout conference).
Presentations on implementing alternative dispute resolution/conflict resolution in both public and private sectors are of special interest, however, all presentation ideas are welcome for both the Fall Conference. Please note that we are especially interested in presentations that would qualify for both Mandatory Continuing Legal Education credits as well as Continuing Mediator Education credits. Presenter proposals will be accepted until March 15, 2024. However, we encourage you to apply as soon as possible so we can confirm continuing education credits for marketing purposes.
After initial review and acceptance of your proposal, additional documentation will be requested.
