The Virginia Mediation Network is hosting its 2024 Fall Conference on September 13-14 (in-person, both pre-conference and regular conference) at the Colonial Williamsburg Woodlands Conference Center in Williamsburg, Virginia) & 16-20 (virtual). Our theme this year is “Peacebuilding Perspectives: Pursuing Paths to Cultivating Harmony.”

On Friday, Sept. 13, we are offering our first-ever in-person pre-conference, "Starting & Managing an ADR Practice," from 9-3:30 p.m. The pre-conference will include 7 1-hr sessions focusing on various aspects of starting and managing an ADR practice. Registration for the pre-conference can be included as an add-on to your regular conference registration, or purchased separately.
On the evening of Friday, Sept. 13, we will have a dinner and Keynote presentation by Chief Justice Emeritus Robert Yazzie of the Navajo Nation. A ticket for this event can be added to your conference ticket at registration, or purchased separately if you do not plan to attend any other portion of the conference.
On Saturday, Sept. 14, we will offer a full day of conference presentations. Our Annual Meeting will take place during lunch on Sept. 14. In addition to lunch, we will provide a continental breakfast prior to the first sessions.
The remainder of the conference, from Sept. 16-20, will be virtual, and we will offer 3-4 virtual sessions per day.
We are offering CMEs for most conference sessions, and some MCLEs for Virginia attorneys. Please see the Agenda linked below for more information.

The 10% early registration discount deadline is Thursday, August 1, 2024 (pre-conference not included).
The regular registration deadline (for pre-conference and conference) is Friday, September 6, 2024.

Please note:
- The conference registration fee covers both the in-person (excluding the pre-conference) and virtual portions of the conference.
- The Keynote, Annual Meeting, and in-person presentations (including the pre-conference) will NOT be livestreamed or recorded. For most virtual sessions, we plan to offer recordings for viewing post-conference.
- We will NOT offer printed hardcopies of conference handouts for the in-person portion of the conference (excluding the pre-conference). All handouts will be provided via Whova, and registrants will be able to download and print handouts for the in-person sessions from Whova in advance to bring with them the day of the conference.
